Recently for my Birthday the girl friend booked a forging experience for us both at a Blacksmiths.
What a fantastic creative medium. Plus it feels awesome heating up pieces of metal and whacking them with a large hammer into shapes.
The session was booked over at The Forge in Much Hadham in Hertfordshire. Our tutor was Richard Mayard, who is a very talented and passionate Blacksmith.
I would certainly recommend this experience for any one.
